We often get calls asking if we take finished needlework (for free), usually when someone has passed away and their family can’t keep it all. We used to say no but we’ve changed our minds.
From now on we’ll take it (again, for free) and hang it on the walls in the store. If someone comes in who wants it, they can have it for free and maybe make a little donation to a charity the stitcher cared about. We’ll put the name of the stitcher, the pattern, and the date stitched on the back.
This way this lovely needlework won’t end up unloved.
If you have some framed or unframed needlework you’d like to bring in, come anytime during our open hours: Tuesday to Saturday 10am – 5:30pm (Wednesdays we’re open until 7pm), we’re closed Sundays and Mondays.
